Quaid-e-Azam Inter-Division Hockey Championship: Lahore, Faisalabad, Sargodha and Bahawalpur divisions have qualified for the semi-finals. The semi-finals will be played on February 6, while the final will be played on February 7. Defeated 4-1, Rawalpindi Division defeated DG Khan Division 3-0 and Faisalabad Division defeated Sahiwal Division 6-1.
The special guests of these matches were 1979 Junior World Cup Gold Medalist M Rashid, Director Sports Government College University Lahore Khadim Ali Khan. Distinguished guests were warmly welcomed on arrival at the stadium and were also introduced to the players and officials. Accompanying him on the occasion were Tournament Director and Secretary Punjab Hockey Association Lt. Col. Asif Naz Khokhar, Associate Secretary Punjab Hockey Association Rai Usman Akbar Kharal, Organizing Secretary and Director Sports, Sports Board Punjab Muhammad Hafeez Bhatti, Deputy Director Sports Punjab. Former Deputy Director Sports Punjab Shahid Nizami, Assistant Director Trainee Raees-ur-Rehman were also present.
